Krabat (The satanic mill)

As an apprentice, the orphan boy Krabat comes into the mill at the Koselbruch. Twelve miller´s apprentices are not only taught the miller´s trade by their master, but also the black magic. Every year on New Year´s Eve, one of them must die – in lieu of the master who is given another year. When it is the turn of Krabat´s friend and protector to die, Krabat takes up a long fight against the evil powers.
